Christmas is almost here! Not going to lie, I’ve been beyond stressed lately. I’m so jelly of kids that get to literally just enjoy the holidays, without any of the extra work; can you imagine such a life?! But I’ve found some ways to get back into the Christmas spirit before you turn into a grinch!
1. Make A Plan For Your Plan
I’ve found that keeping a list for any major upcoming events either written down or locked into your phone calendar helps out a lot. It’s so much easier to see what you have coming up to plan & make back up plans if needed😉
2. Shop ‘Til Ya Drop
I like to destress by shopping because you still need something nice for yourself. At least for me, it’ll always relax me and bring me joy (who caught that reference? lol)
3. Stream & Chill
This is the best time of year to legit just binge on all the cheesy movies ever. There’s Netflix for all your RomCom needs, Hulu for the classics, and Disney+ for all the nostalgic feels. Take your pick!
4. Start A Tradition
We’re adults now so it’s time to start a Christmas tradition that’ll give you something to look forward to. It doesn’t have to be anything major. Make a special eggnog recipe, go ice skating with friends, grab dinner with your boo at a special restauran, or get yourself some special jewelry for the Holidays. Get creative, you know what you like!
5. Tis The Season
But most importantly, remember the real reason for the season. Spend some time reflecting on the amazing year you’ve just had! It’s the season of giving, so give your time, use your talents, give some gifts, or pay it forward. I promise you won’t regret it.
